Tasting Notes:
This Gewurztraminer reveals a wonderful range of aromas, both floral and fruity picked up by spicy and peppery notes. The nose is complex, delicate and fresh.
At first, the mouth is round and velvety with fruity flavours. Then the spicy strength of the Gewürztraminer bursts, balanced by the underlying acidity. The fresh and balanced finish is picked up by a little bitterness.
Food Pairings:
In France, they have been used to drink this wine as an aperitif, with foie gras, with strong cheese (Munster, Roquefort, blue cheese…) or with dessert. But Gewurztraminer is also one of the only wines that stand with spicy food! Asian cuisine, Oriental food and all the dishes gathering different influences match wonderfully with Gewurztraminer.
