BARRICOCCIO comes from “barrique” and “coccio” and specifies a terracotta container with the same shape and dimensions as a Barrique.
A tribute to the containers used in ancient times for the conservation of wine, it is unique for its capacity to preserve the natural characteristics of youth and freshness in a wine.
The maturation period in BARRICOCCIO® is followed by aging in large oak casks.
