Coda di Volpe is one of the ancient native varieties of Sannio Area. It had been already noted in I sec D.C. by Plinio in his Naturalis Historia. However Coda di Volpe is still marginally represented in Sannio, after more than 2000 years.
Thanks to this historical tradition we decided to valorize it in Oppida Aminea Estate, in order to give to this variety knowledge and importance. This wine is realized with grapes that come from the first line of the Vineyard (1-13) in limited edition.
After vinification, we leave the wine fining and evolving for long time in the cellar to allow the wine to express all its aromas and aromatic peculiarities. We consider it ready not before than 18 months from its harvest.
