Once upon a time, the Greeks founded a colony in a rich and fertile land, filled with history and wealth. They named it Enotria: the land where grapes are grown and wine is made. Today we call it Calabria.

In “The Rich Heritage of Italian Wine,” Jancis Robinson cites Italy as offering “the greatest variety if not of wine styles then certainly of terrains” of all the world’s wine-producing countries. She calls LIBRANDI “by far the most dynamic wine producer in wild Calbria” and applauds the winery for holding the prize for “most worthwhile Italian grape recuperation.”
